Trezor.io/start is the official onboarding page for all Trezor devices. It's the absolute safest place to download Trezor Suite, ensure your firmware is genuine, and begin managing your cryptocurrencies securely .


🚀 Setup & Initial Login


  1. Visit trezor.io/start in your browser.

  2. Choose either Trezor Model One or Model T.

  3. Download and install Trezor Suite for Windows, macOS, or Linux .

  4. Plug in your hardware wallet via USB, install any required firmware, then create or recover a wallet using your recovery seed.

  5. Set up a PIN code (and optionally a passphrase) on your device to authenticate your login to the Suite.


✅ What Happens After You ‘Log In’


Once you’ve entered the correct PIN on your device and launched Trezor Suite, you're logged in and can immediately:

  • View balances (queried live from the blockchain),

  • Send or receive crypto,

  • Swap or exchange tokens securely.

Every subsequent session requires reconnecting your device and entering the PIN to log in again.


🔐 Logging Out & Securing Your Session


To log out, simply disconnect the USB cable and close Trezor Suite. Leaving your device unplugged ensures no unauthorized access; the next login will again ask for PIN entry.
